hey!
first of all im sorry i didnt reply to the meeting last week. i just learned about it.  please let me know if you'll plan to do it again.  hope everyone;'s had a good summer so far. 
here's another show I did, this time in PR.  i went back home for a couple of days in august and had the chance to shoot this band, called lade vé. this is the second of two shows i did for them. (at the bottom of the blog post you'll find the link to the whole set on flickr)

Hi Everyone - I love all these summer vacation/service trip images! I just got back from Spain and France and took 1500 pictures while i was there - so i am whittling the selection down and editing, once I have some top pics I will post them here. Are any of you taking Photo III this fall? I'm thinking of taking the tuesday night class, maybe I'll see some of you there.

Also, does anyone have a good recommendation for a photo book printing lab? I've heard mpix.com is pretty good - have any of you tried them? Seems the iphoto books aren't the best quality. I'd like to make one this fall.

An evening walk on the High Line

Hi everyone, how have you been?

I've taken 2 summer courses at the ICP this summer - Studio Lighting for Digital SLRs & Photoshop for Lightroom Users - and both of them were just so amazing!!! I would recommend especially the latter one if you want to learn how to make your images stronger by using layers and masks.

And I visited the High Line 2 days ago and uploaded some pictures on my Flickr. I would greatly appreciate your comments. Thank you!

Honduras

I recently returned from a Habitat for Humanity build in a small town in Honduras. It was an amazing trip that inspired me in so many ways. The people were awesome and I had so much fun taking pictures there. I'm attaching some portraits that I took while walking around. There are hundreds more, but I'm sure you all can remember how terrible I am at editing....

Summer is half way over, not sure if all of you are diligently taking photos, printing photos, selling photos, dreaming photos... I have done none of that, so I am feeling guilty and want to share this guilt with whomever care to listen. Anybody want to go to see a photo show, share some recent photos, or just chat?
